    Abstract
    Over the past decades, sustainability has emerged as one of the foremost issues faced by corporations across all sectors. This led to the plethora that organization “do well by doing good” through focusing to investors, customers and employees due to society consideration and the environment in going about their operations. This growing trend by organizations to practice corporate social responsibility illustrates the need of companies to give more back to the communities in which they operate and by doing so, they enhance and boost their performance. Due to the understanding of effect of corporate social responsibility to the organization, this study aimed to establish management perception of the influence of corporate social responsibility on performance of equity bank limited. The main objective of this study was to establish management perception of the influence of corporate social responsibility on performance of Equity Bank Limited. To achieve this, the study was guided by the following research objectives, that is, to establish the impact of CSR activity on good governance as perceived by the management of Equity Bank Limited, to establish impact of CSR activity on employees‟ as perceived by the management of Equity Bank Limited and to determine the impact of CSR activity on good governance as perceived by the management of Equity Bank Limited. The study employed a case study within Equity bank limited where primary data was collected using interview guides was administered on the research sample (managers). The interview guides was structure into two categories that is; general information of the respondent and specific objective of the study. A content analysis and descriptive analysis was employed. The information developed from the research data was then presented in prose-form
