dc.description.abstract | The goal of this study was to identify the level of access and utilization of instructional materials in teaching and learning of Biology in secondary schools. Instructional materials are items both print and non-print that are applied to empower students within formation. They may consist of items such as: schoolbooks, journals, newspapers, pictures, tapes etc. Instructional materials play a crucial part in the teaching and learning process to heighten the memory of learners. Oral instruction alone cannot lead to effective tutoring, the teacher require instructional materials for the process to be stimulating (Clark, 2009). This study is designed to gaugeaccess and utilization of instructional resources in Biology. These findings will be used by various organisations, education specialists, teacher trainers, classroom teachers, school administrators and all stakeholders involved in policy formulation, development, and implementation.The researcher is optimistic that the research will inspire further investigation in the use instructional materials in education. | en_US |
