dc.description.abstract | This is a study of the relationships between stated-objectives learning experiences and evaluation procedures in selected parts of the specialized program of preparation of primary teachers of English in Uganda. The data were collected between June and August 1972 in five of the twenty-seven ordinary teacher training colleges, of two types run by the government of Uganda Grade II colleges and Grade II colleges In the study, the author focuses on: 1. Relationships between the expected outcomes set by the English program and portrayed by the syllabus objectives, the tutors objectives and the student teachers' objectives; 2. The learning activities provided and how they are related to the objectives set; 3. The nature of the evaluation procedures used in order to find whether the objectives have been achieved: The relationships between syllabus objectives, tutors objectives, the learning activities and the evaluation procedures. | |
