    Abstract
    The purpose of the study was to investigate factors that lead to indiscipline in secondary schools in Nairobi. The study was concerned with student's validation of measures suggested by the government to curb student's unrest in Kenyan Secondary Schools. To achieve this, the researcher used descriptive survey design. Random sampling technique identified the students of schools selected. Data was collected by administering questionnaires to form four and form two students. A cross section of suggested measures of curbing student's unrest was presented to the students for validation. Data collected analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The analyzed data was presented in the form of frequency distribution tables, bar graphs, pie charts and brief discussions. A student validated list of measures for curbing students' unrest was produced. The study I also captured measures which were omitted by the ministry of education. Based on the above, the study recommends that the policy makers study the new list suggested by the students as they look at theis own recommendations that were rated highly by the students. In this way a new list will emerge that accommodates and reflects a synthesis of the views of all stakeholders in the education sector and it is hoped that this will reduce and if possible eliminate unrests in secondary schools.
