Based on the research questions, two questionnaires, one for the teachers and another for the headteachers were designed to solicit information to assist in the research questions. The study revealed that individual counseling was one of the most used counseling methods in the schools; and that absenteeism, lateness, drug abuse were some of the manifestations of indiscipline in schools. The study made conclusions based on the study. It was concluded that in order for headteachers to deal with indiscipline in the schools, they first establish the root cause before resorting to the various methods of dealing with the problem. Based on the conclusions, several recommendations were made. It was recommended that there is need to train all the teachers in guidance and counseling in order to enhance discipline in schools using counseling. The study also recommended that various methods of counseling should be used in school to enhance discipline in the schools. The study also recommended that the headteachers be trained through in-service courses to handle all types of indiscipline arising among students. The study finally recommended that guidance and counseling be made a subject of study in the schools in order to reduce the negative attitude of the students towards guidance and counseling
