    Abstract
This study was on 'Factors influencing Ministry of Roads' timely completion of roads projects. The objectives of the study was to establish the extent to which each of the independent variables, namely; management support, organizational culture, organizational communication and supervision capacity influences timely completion of projects in Nairobi; The research questions were mainly: to what extent each of the variables, namely; management support, organizational culture, organizational communication and supervision capacity influences timely completion of road projects in Nairobi. The study took a quantitative. research approach based on survey conducted through a questionnaire. It also employed convenience sampling and data was analyzed through correlation and percentages. The correlation tests showed the Pearson's coefficient for each variable was: management support 0.1259, organizational culture 0.1577 and organizational communication 0.2318 while supervision capacity was 0.3138. The major findings were that there was significant relationship between all the Independent variables and the dependent variable. Supervision capacity was statistically, however, found to have the most significant relationship with timely completion of projects. The study concluded that the Ministry lacks the necessary human and financial capacity to implement projects in a timely manner. It recommends the need for the Ministry to review its strategies with a view to further enhancing commitment in the areas of management support, organizational culture, organizational communication and supervision capacity.
