    Abstract
    The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent to which contextual, learner and institutional factors influenced students' perceptions of Technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes on socio-economic development in Kenya. The study focused mainly on the perceived contribution of TVET programmes in the production of skilled human resource and their contribution towards socio-economic development in kenya.
