A Manual on Microscopic Anatomy

Abstract

A proper understanding of any branch of science requires familiarity with the tools and methods used to study the subject. This manual acts as a guide to the microscopic study of histological materials, based on the methodology and overall curriculum of the Department of Human Anatomy, University of Nairobi. It is meant to provide guidelines during practical sessions of any standard histology course and enables the student to recognise and differentiate microscopic structures. It is a suitable manual for undergraduate students in medical and dental studies, and postgraduate students revising for Anatomy Part 1 Masters of Medicine examinations.
