Health sector financial analysis: a survey.

Abstract

Alternative ways of raising funds for health sectors in the developing countries are explored, with reference to specific country experiences. Further, the paper identifies areas in the health sector which require priority in the allocation of financial budgets; sketches a framework for financial planning in the health sector; and discusses costs of alternative systems of health care delivery in selected countries.
